WELCOMING REMARKS

We are pleased to invite you to take part in 2022 Global Innovation Seoul Forum (GISF) & Green Smart Development and Vision Conference (GSDV) under the theme of ‘Sustainable Development through Digital Transformation’. These events are co-sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT(MSIT), KAIST ITTP (Global IT Technology Program at GDI, Graduate School of Digital Innovation) and Seoul National University ITPP(International Technology Professional Program at GRC, Global R&DB Center).

In retrospect and in pursuance of our vision of sharing & transferring Korea’s advanced technology and policy in the field of ICT and smart technology to the rest of the world and building a strong and efficient ICT network between the Republic of Korea and the world, SNU and KAIST, the top universities of Korea have been saddled with the responsibilities which is making an admission and educating ICT-related professionals from government organizations around globe since 2003 and 2006 respectively.

As a part of the responsibility, we have hosted annual forum and conference, which are GISF and GSDV. The events will serve as an opportunity for researchers, academicians, government and industry experts and other stakeholders in the ICT field to meet and share their knowledge, visions, experiences and ideas. Also, as part of our custom of sharing the experiences of graduated fellows in their countries, we have invited alumni of SNU-ITPP and KAIST-ITTP to grace this event and share their collaboration experiences with participants and other fellows of the programs.

We are grateful to all the participants and audiences from Korea and far abroad, for their valuable time and support for the success of 2022 GISF & GSDV.
